Reid’s Dairy is not changing its name.
That from the president of the company in a report in the Belleville Intelligencer Friday.
Earlier reports had cited the Belleville-based company would be changing its name to Quickert’s Dairy Products in recognition of the founder of the family-owned business.
President Stephen Quickert said Friday his brother is changing the name of the Reid’s Milky Way brand to the Quickert’s brand – a change already happening in the Durham region.
Quickert said Reid’s Dairy in Belleville will remain operating with the Reid’s Dairy name… and the company’s products will remain on store shelves.
