A Belleville man has been sentenced for sneaking into women’s washrooms and peeking at people using the facilities.
Twenty-four-year-old Derek Osborn, who pleaded guilty on April third to three counts of voyeurism and one count of committing an indecent act, was sentenced to 30 days custody in Belleville Provincial Court..
He will be under house arrest for six months after he completes the jail time, faces 18 months probation, will have to provide a sample to the National D-N-A Data Bank, and was given a 10-year weapons prohibition.
Osborn was arrested by Belleville City Police last November after they got complaints for several months about a man peeping at women in the stalls of public restrooms at Bay View Mall and other businesses.
