Residents near the Belleville Hospital have made good on their promise to appeal a City Council decision about a temporary parking lot for hospital employees.
Spokesperson Bill Tripp says the appeal, representing the 89 people who signed a petition given to the planning committee, has been filed with the Ontario Municipal Board.
Council approved a rezoning application last month, allowing the owner of the former Oddfellows’ Hall to convert the building’s parking lot into temporary parking for Quinte Health Care workers.
No date has been set for an O-M-B hearing.
