Anglers swinging a line over the side of Belleville’s bridges may soon have to go elsewhere to do their fishing.
Councillor Jack Miller told city council last night a resident pointed out the dangers on the pedestrian bridge and Miller was surprised there was no bylaw restricting that. He says the flying line with a hook is a danger to anyone walking by. Council asked for a staff report on the issue.
