An autopsy on a Belleville man found dead in the Moira River yesterday(thursday) has led Belleville Police to consider the case a homicide.
The dead man is 61 year old Robert Vaillancourt. As a murder investigation is now underway, Belleville Police are not releasing what the cause of death may be.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Detective Sergeant Tom Sweet or Staff Sergeant Shawn Yule.
