It was a loyal buddy who showed up at the Belleville Police station in the middle of the night.
Police say an intoxicated Quinte West man arrived at the police station around 1:30 a.m. in an attempt to bail out one of his friends.
Police directed the allegedly intoxicated man to leave, and arrested him for trespassing when he refused.
The 23-year-old was lodged overnight in a cell next to his friend.
