Pepper spray was used on some unwieldy bar patrons in Belleville.
City police attended a “north end drinking establishment” around 2 a.m. and used pepper spray to calm down a 30 year old man whom they arrested for public intoxication.
A 24 year old man from Michigan was later arrested at the same location for public intoxication.
Both men were lodged in cells at the police station overnight.
