An escaped convicted murderer has been recaptured north of Kingston. Forty-two-year-old Andrew Wood, serving a sentence for second degree murder, left the minimum security Frontenac Institution on June 13th. He and the female driver of a vehicle he was in were arrested by police last night. A 35-year-old Kingston woman faces several charges, and she and Wood, who was charged with escaping lawful custody, will appear in Kingston Provincial Court today.
