A Belleville Police officer put the “stop payment” on a drug deal in the downtown yesterday. An officer on routine patrol saw two men involved in a transaction, at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon, on Front Street. Both suspects were arrested for trafficking. One was released with a court date and the other was held for a bail hearing.
