It’s been a busy 24-hours for firefighters across the Quinte Region. No one was injured in a blaze, yesterday afternoon, that did serious damage to a townhouse on North Park Street in Belleville. Fire crews responded at 3:30 and had the blaze under control about 10-minutes later. Damage is estimated at 45-thousand dollars and a cause hasn’t yet been determined.
Meanwhile, Stirling-Rawdon fire crews were called to a blaze in an abandoned barn north of the Stirling at 10 o’clock last night. The structure near Barrett and Wingfield Roads was destroyed.
and, Madoc firefighters responded to a fire, at 3 o’clock this morning, just north of the village. The shed on Hart’s Road was also destroyed. The investigations are continuing.
