A two storey home burned to the ground earlier this morning east of Tweed. Tweed Fire Chief Don Barnett says crews from Napanee were first to arrive on the scene of the blaze on Hogsback Road, just afer 6am, and found the home fully envolved in flames. Barnett says they were forced to take defensive action against the flames. The occupants weren’t home at the time…and, no one was injured. No damage estimate has been released but the home was destroyed. Barnett says the cause is undetermined for now.
