The Hastings-Prince Edward School Board and the union that represents support workers have reached a tentative contract agreement.
The board will hold a special meeting on thursday afternoon to review, and possibly ratify the deal with the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and the union members will vote that evening.
There is no information yet on the length of the agreement for the custodians, educational assistants and clerical staff..
Board spokesman Kerry Donnell says the contract was reached in negotiations with CUPE this morning.
