Belleville Police warning the public of a scam involving the Belleville Fire Department.
Police say a woman who posed as a fire inspector with the fire department, entered a west hill boarding house yesterday(thursday), and entered 3 rooms, stealing a lap top computer, and other electronic equipment. She is described as white, around 40 years old, with short brown hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers, or the Belleville Police.
