Prince Edward County will receive a very special visit late next year.
The Olympic Torch Relay will stop in Picton, on December 15th, next year, the only stop in the Quinte region.
Director of Culture and Recreation in Prince Edward County, Barry Braun, says the event will be a big one, featuring a 3 hour show, including local talent, with the Olympic Committee providing other entertainment, including a runner lighting a replica Olympic cauldron in Picton.
