Belleville Police warning the public of a scam involving a woman claiming to be a Belleville Fire Department employee.
Police say a woman who posed as a fire inspector with the fire department, entered a west hill boarding house yesterday(thursday), and entered 3 rooms, stealing a lap top computer, and other electronic equipment. She is described as white, around 40 years old, with short brown hair. She was not wearing a Fire Department uniform.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers, or the Belleville Police.
