A shoplifting incident landed two men in police custody last night, one of them, twice in the same evening.
Belleville Police say they were called to the Quinte Mall just after 5-PM where a 19 year old was being held after a shoplifting incident.
Police also learned a 21 year old male had assaulted a security guard to try and free the other.
The 19 year old was released and told to stay away from the 21 year old.
Later that evening police attended an apartment building where they found both men.
Both were taken into custody and are being held for bail hearings.
