February is Heart Month!

February is HEART MONTH!

Join the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Mayor Christopher at noon for a HEART MONTH kick off event at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre! Mayor Christopher will proclaim February as Heart Month, and the Heart and Stroke flag will fly for the month of February at the QSWC.

THANK YOU to our 2,100 local volunteers who will canvass door to door to increase awareness of the risk factors of heart disease and stroke, and accept donations for life-saving research. Dr. Roberta Bondar, the Heart Month and Stroke Month Honorary Chair states: “Not having enough funding is one of the most urgent research challenges we're facing today.”

Please give generously!
