Spirit Borne: Made to Thrive

This year’s show, “Made to Thrive”, is centered around a young man and his struggle to find his place and identity within his family and community. Musical numbers in the show include contemporary Christian bands, accapella and southern gospel. The 2015-16 Spirit Borne team is made up of 37 students, representing 11 high schools in the Quinte and surrounding areas. Show begins at 7 pm and admission is free. Donations are welcome. Local Author Anne Schmelzer

Local author, Anne Shmelzer, visits Madoc Public Library for a talk, reading and book signing session on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at 6pm. Anne's debut novel, A Marginally Noted Man, tells the story of Will Nicol, who returns to Hastings County to rebuild his life after the horrific aftermath of war on the Western Front. This free event is most suitable for adults and older youth.

The Trenton MFRC & the CFB Trenton RecPlex are inviting youth to dance the night away at our Video Dance Party on Friday, February 19th, 2016. There will be a DJ and a well stocked canteen.
