1st Annual 'Season of Hope Boutique'

The Anchor of Hope Pregnancy & Family Care Centre is having it's 1st Annual 'Season of Hope Boutique' fundraiser on November 15th, from 9 am to 4 pm. This vendor market fundraiser features over 100 vendors showcasing various artisans, direct sellers, unique gifts, and homemade goods. This event is being held at Centre Hastings Secondary School, which is located at 129 Elgin St., in Madoc. The 'Season of Hope Boutique' is on the Heart of Hastings Christmas Tour. Santa Claus Parade

The Frankford Santa Claus Parade will be held on the 29th of November at 10.30 Am ,Santa will be in the Royal Canadian Legion after the parade until 4.30 everyone welcomed

Sports Day

Come and join us Saturday November 29th for a day of FREE physical activity as we celebrate National Sports day in Canada. We will be having activities happening all day at different locations all over the base.

1000-1100 Martial Arts Hobby Club @ Building 32 Behind Wing Headquarters

Come run through some drills with Sensei Walther at the Martial Arts Hobby club on base. Registration will need to be done in advance to ensure access to the club.

1100-1200 Tai Chi @ RecPlex

Try this slow moving, gentle exercise which is perfect for all ages

1300-1500 Family @ Skate RCAF Arena

Sharpen up you skates and make use of the arena during this free family skate

1300-1500 Rec Swim @ RecPlex

The pool is open for business whether you are swimming in the deep end or hanging out in the shallows

1500-1600 Water Sports @ RecPlex

Let your kids play in the water sports while you swim some laps.

1600-1800 Curling @ Trenton Curling Club

The CRA has rented some ice at the Trenton Curling club, come join us from 4-6pm to get some instruction on how to curl and then some game time at the end. There are limited spots so you will need to preregister.

Curling is for ages 12 and up.

7th Foxboro Santa Claus Parade

Santa Clause is coming to Ashley Street, Foxboro, on Saturday, November 29th at 12:30,come on out and the join the festivity, see the many floats, bands, cars,groups and Santa Claus.

Interested in being a part of the Foxboro & District Lions Club Santa Claus Parade, registration forms can be picked up at Hopkin's Garage (394 Ashley St.) or County Bus Service (507b Ashley St.). Enter for a chance to win for the best float.

Nativity Display

Nov. 29 Large Nativity Display at St. John's Anglican Church Madoc, 115 Durham St. N. from 1 to 4 PM. To loan your set (any medium) bring it to the church on Friday Nov. 28 from 1 to 4. If this is inconvienient call 613-472-3176 to make alternate arrangements. Cider and cookies served. No Admission fee, all welcome. The display will also be on view during the Sunday service Nov. 30 at 10:30.
