Radio :30

RADIO :30 by Chris Earle

Written and Performed by Chris Earle

Featuring Sam Earle

Directed by Shari Hollett

A Night Kitchen Production

July 22 – August 2 @ 8:00pm

Matinees July 25 and August 1 @ 2:00pm

Mount Tabor Playhouse, Milford

â€"Ever have one of those days?” asks veteran radio actor Ron, as he sits down at the microphone to record a simple ad spot. Ron is having one of â€"those days” right before our eyes. This acclaimed dark comedy, about an actor who comes unglued in the recording studio, has snapped up major awards and the attention of audiences and critics alike. Chris Earle is pitch-perfect as Ron, the silver-tongued â€"go-to guy” with the inimitably friendly voice. Radio :30 is a winner of a Dora Mavor Moore Award, Canadian Comedy Award and Chalmers Award.

Following most performances, join 99.3 County FM in the theatre for a live recording. Local storytellers spin yarns about life in the County, in the radio biz, and on the stage.

Test Drive

Test Drive by Dave Carley

August 5 - 24

Tuesday – Saturday @ 6:30 pm

Matinees Friday and Sunday at 1:30 pm

Rosehall Run Vineyards, Hillier

Earl Hughes loves his wife, children and cars – and not always in that order. He also considers his life to be resoundingly ordinary, except that every ten years or so he sets out on a test drive that rocks his world. Earl’s trip begins in 1954 – a hurricane is brewing but he still thinks he can sell a Nash Metropolitan to a would-be starlet. From there he drives through the Cold War, detours around Woodstock and comes to a screeching stop in 2014 – when he must go to war to keep his driver’s license.

Test Drive is a wild ride, an homage to an age-gone-by and a salute to the entrepreneur, the eternal optimist, the guy with the zeal to close the deal. A tour-de-force for the performers and a riot for the audience. Come and enjoy Test Drive under the Grand Tent at Rosehall Run Vineyards.

Uncovering Nature's Mysteries Hike

Come and enjoy a family friendly hike at the Quinte Conservation Area. Education Coordinator Maya Navrot will take you on an informative journey uncovering nature's mysteries as you explore this public green space.

Wear close-toed shoes and bring bug spray and your curiosity.

The home base for Quinte Conservation, this area offers an abundance of recreational opportunities. Trails wind through this former farm, past fragrant orchards, open meadows

and scenic woodlands. Dog lovers have the â€"Pooch Path”, an area to let their pets walk

unleashed. Hikers, bikers and cross country skiers will find the trails to be inspiring and

diversified. The park area at the mouth of Potter’s Creek overlooking the Bay of Quinte

provides a great starting point for canoeists, kayakers and windsurfers. This area is also
