Belleville Police Service continued a traffic enforcement blitz yesterday, issuing more than 30 speeding tickets on secondary roads.
A 59-year-old man was clocked travelling 109km/hr in a 60 zone on Casey Road and received a $359 ticket.
On Old Highway 2 more than 20 motorists were stopped for driving 50% over the posted 60 km/h speed limit.
A 31-year-old man stopped for speeding was also issued a three-day licence suspension for registering a “warn” reading on a roadside device.
