Terry’s parents Clarence and Karen instilled in him to take great pride in his work, and he did, from the Tweed Arena, clearing leases in Grande Prairie for his Uncle Larry McGuire, delivering for Gaylord Hardwood Flooring and Bush Furniture. He took his jobs seriously and often got a little distressed if things were not done efficiently enough for him, but he loved it. He worked hard and played hard.
Being out with people is where he wanted to be, there was always someone to visit with at work, or he would always find someone to chat with. Terry loved a cold beer and would offer one to just about anyone he came across. He loved having his card playing family around as often as possible. This was his time to share stories, reminisce and relay his weeks triumphs and challenges.
Terry excelled in youth sports in hockey and baseball, along side his brother Jeff. He developed friendships that last to this day, especially his Friday night ball team.
Terry loved his children and was a very proud father.
We will miss the red van monitoring King road.
