Sandra Elaine Claus (May 21st, 1944 – September 20th, 2026)
Predeceased by her sister Joan Ford and by her lifetime partner Larry Potter. She is survived by Craig Potter, Lorisa Potter and Brady Potter and by her two nephews Stephen Ford and Chris Ford and their families. Sandra is also survived by many friends especially Margie Robb who never left her side. Sandra was an incredible animal lover a hard worker and a good friend. Sandra was also an incredible athlete. She had a wicked pitching arm, and she often showed that off in her days with the Belleville Bombers. She went on to faithfully watch ball in the comfort of her home and enjoyed a good banter with Larry when the Yankees were playing. Sandra eventually switched from playing baseball to Golf and was very good at golf as well. Sandra’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life which will take place at Legacy Events, 4211 Old Hwy #2, Belleville on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Sandra may be made to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward (Belleville) humanesocietyhpe.ca
