Pickell, Ruth (nee Hunt)…. peacefully passed away at Picton on June 11, 2025 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Harry Pickell. Loving mother to Allen Pickell (Jennifer), Harry Pickell (Louise), Cheryl Blight (Gary). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren Michelle, Colin, Melissa, Jordan, Caitlin, Briana, Cassandra and Keegan. Loving great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren Isaac, Wyatt, Isabella, Harper and Hudson. Ruth is predeceased by parents Blake & Hazel Hunt. Ruth was a long time Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary member with Branch #110. She was a lifelong resident of the Trenton community. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Outside of family Ruth loved many hobbies including, knitting, crochet, darts, camping, cards, her cats, her flowers and she loved the outside basking in the sun. She was known as a friendly face for numerous businesses and loved the people and they all loved her. Ruth’s legacy will be ever remembered. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Weaver Family Funeral Home (Trenton), 170 Dundas Street, Trenton on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 12 – 2 PM followed by graveside service at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
