Wood, Ronald “Ron” peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Wood. Cherished son of the late Reta and Earl Wood. Loving father of Kim, Garry, Jim (Joanne), and Debbie (Bruce Loucks), and predeceased by his sons Brian and Ronnie Wood. Dear brother of Sandra, Connie (Adam), and Carol, and predeceased by his sister Shirley Wood. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Weaver Family Funeral Home, 29 Bay St., on Thursday, May 21, at 11:00 AM for visitation, with services to follow at 12:00 PM and burial at Carrying Place Annex. A light luncheon will follow the burial at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Quinte Transit, or the VON Adult Day Program in Ron’s memory.
