Davidson (nee Card), Reta Evelyn – of Belleville, entered into rest with her Heavenly Father, at Hospice Quinte on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at the age of 92. Dear daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie Card (nee McDonald). Beloved wife of Arthur Lorne Davidson, for 72 years (celebrated on August 18th). Cherished mother of Wanda Chisholm (John), and Stephen Davidson (Sherry). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Jeff Chisholm (Chanel), Justin Davidson (Susie), Melanie Vanden Hoven (Martin), and Alicia Bader (Baker). Dear great-grandmother of 8. Loving sister of Mavis Rupnow (Clair), Belleville. Reta was predeceased by her siblings; Tom Card (late Effie), Irene Shannik (late Keith), Minor Card, Elmer Card (late Beatrice), Mary Card, Ed Card (late Phyllis), Gordon Card (surviving spouse Olga of Bancroft), Gerald Card (late Betty), Muriel Lindsay (late Doug), and Elda Card. Reta will be missed by Arthur’s family, her extended family, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville, on Wednesday August 26th, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Hastings Park Bible Church, 36 Harder Drive, on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation at the church one hour prior to service. Pastor Hal York and Pastor Gary Robinson officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Quinte, Graphite Bible Camp, or Joy Bible Camp would be appreciated by the family.
