With a heavy heart, I share the passing of my beloved sister, Paula Sten, on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
She was my sister, my confidante, my heart. We spoke every day and now there is a silence I cannot fill.
Paula was a complex, strong-willed, and fiercely independent woman. She faced life with honesty, never
pretending to be someone she wasn’t. She carried her struggles, her sorrows, and her joys in equal measure,
and those who truly knew her understood the depth of her spirit.
She leaves behind cousins, friends who stood by her side and me, her sister. Though she is gone, she will never
be forgotten. A private remembrance, a celebration of her life will be held in September close to her birthday which
is September 15. In her memory may we all be honest about who we are and hold tight to the ones we love.
