Norman Sheets was born February 7, 1936 to Oliver and Edith Sheets in Mount Dennis, Ontario.
Following High School he apprenticed as a carpenter. Shortly after completing that training he was called into the ministry. In 1958 he married Hazel Rose and they moved to Manitoulin Island to serve as pastor of four churches. In 1962 they moved to Winnipeg where Norm attended Canadian Nazarene College.
Following graduation he pastored a number of churches until retiring in 2014. After his retirement, Norman moved to Seeley’s Bay Ontario.
He returned to ministry at Quinte West Church of the Nazarene in 2017, where he continued to serve until his death on July 14, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Hazel (in 1998), and one daughter who died at birth.
Norman is survived by one son Glen (wife Sheri), three grandsons Michael, Jacob and Ethan all of Springfield Illinois. He is also survived by two step grandsons, Christopher (wife Amy), Caleb (Cameron), and five step grandchildren Cody, Wyatt, Shyann, Alaric and Maya all of Jacksonville Illinois.
Family and Friends are invited to visit at Quinte West Church Of The Nazarene 18148 Telephone Rd. Trenton, Ontario on Friday July 24 from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
