November 27, 1932 ~ May 13, 2025
We said our goodbyes to our beloved mother Doreen Pearson on Tuesday May 13 2025. She was surrounded by our love when she passed and was able to say her goodbyes to us before she left us. She was predeceased by her loving parents Maude and Edgar Ray and her cherished husband Lloyd. Left to mourn are her daughters Carol (Shayne) and Brenda (Bill). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Hercules (Alanna), Nicholas (Kari) Amy (Trevor) and Robert (Katy), Rhyan (Aureen), Andrew (Nicole). She was blessed by having nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy (Fred deceased). Predeceased by sisters; Evelyn (Ross), and Lorna (Bill surviving). Mom was born in Belleville and lived her whole life in the Quinte area, first on Avonlough Rd where she spent her childhood years on the family farm. After marrying Dad in 1953 they built a home next door to the family farm. We spent our happy childhood years there. After Dad retired they moved to Catalina Dr and then to Aldersgate Village. They spent time travelling and spending a couple of months each winter in Florida. Mom was very involved in her church and was always in service to others. Her funeral will be held at Westminster United Church, 1199 Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, Belleville, on Saturday May 31st, with visitation from 12:30-2:00 followed by the service and a reception afterwards. Private family inurnment at Belleville Cemetery at a future time. In lieu of flowers donations to Westminster United Church, QH ~ Belleville General Hospital Foundation or Gleaners Food bank would be appreciated by her family.
