ATKINS, Mary Theresa…peacefully passed away at Hastings Manor on Thursday December 5th, 2024 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Joseph Albert Atkins. Proud and loving mother of Joseph Atkins Jr. & his wife Cheri, Gary Atkins, Karen Atkins-Gayle & her husband Thomas (deceased), Mark Atkins & his spouse Dania, Mary Barrett nee Atkins & her husband Richard, and Julie Atkins. Beloved grandmother to Curtis & his wife Jenna, Krystal, Zack, Nicholas (deceased), Jordan, Brittany, Abby, Shelby, Christopher, Mitchell, and Daniella, and great grandmother to Capri and Cali. Cherished sister to Margaret Boland & her husband Joe (deceased), the late Joan & Roy Simpson, Edward Snow & his wife Gloria, the late Gerald & Isabelle Snow, the late Sidney Snow, Sharon & Kenneth Barber, Teresa Snow & her spouse Tilly Gallant, the late Gertrude & Kevin George, Barbara Barrett & her husband Maxwell (deceased) and Debbie Noseworthy & her husband Gary. Mary will be fondly remembered by her sisters in law Rose Butt & her husband Brad, Glenys Rees & her husband Phil (deceased) and is predeceased by her brothers in law Ray Atkins & his wife Violet, Richard Atkins and her sisters in law Florence Atkins and May Mercer & her husband Graham. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation is to take place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
