Fennell, Marion Merrill (nee Yateman)…. passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Sunrise Retirement Home in Aurora on January 30, 2026 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Louis William Fennell. Loving mother to Patrick (Sandee), Gary (Bess), Jim (Tracy) and Bonnie (Terry Fraser). Cherished Grandmother of Kevin (Katie), Kyle (Valerie), Shannon (Adam), Ryan, Sean (Joslyn), Egan (Katie), Erin (Nelson), Conor, Branden (Raluca), Brittney, and Great Grandmother to Reese, Cole, Emily, William, Kees, Carter, Rylee, Brooke and Hannah. Loving sister to Eleanor and brother Lee. Marion is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Annie Yateman, brothers Joe and Gary and daughter Mary “May” Fennell. Marion will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew her, the many Fennell and Yateman relatives, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Marion had a long career in managing the farm and as the Warehouse/Safety Manager at Proctor and Gamble, and other companies in the area. She was especially proud of her work with Community Living and other volunteer organizations such as Rotary and Campbellford Hospital. A Celebration of Marion’s Life will be held with food and beverages at WEAVER – Campbellford, 77 Second Street on Thursday February 12th, 2026 from 12:30PM-3:30PM. A time of memories and sharing will begin at 1:30PM. A Spring Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Campbellford Community Living (Inclusion Northumberland) would be appreciated by the family.
