McPherson, Marie Joanne (nee Bégin)… Passed away peacefully at the Lakeview Manor in Beaverton on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Vera & Arthur Bégin, loving mother to Linda Villanova (Tony), David (Deborah), and Robert Parry. Survived by brother Rev. Dr. Fr. Paul Bégin and predeceased by brothers James (Cindy) and John. Marie grew up in St. Clair’s Parish and attended Loretto Abbey School and St. Joseph’s College School. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Michael’s in 1956. She married Peter Parry in 1959 and Frank McPherson in 1981. Marie was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and lived her life in faith, love and service to others volunteering at Providence Villa for many years. She was a kind and caring woman who loved her family and friends and enjoyed Bible study and travelling. She leaves two granddaughters; Amanda and Mikayla (an RN like her Grandma), one great grandchild Austin, and Nephews; Noel (Kim) Bégin and Paul (Ann) Bégin and Niece Claire (Jason) Taylor. Visitation will be held at Weaver Family Funeral Home, 170 Dundas Street, West Trenton on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 10:15-10:45 and with funeral to follow at 11:00 am.
