It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dauphine Green wish to share that on Sunday, May 18, 2025 Marie passed away peacefully at Crowne Ridge Place with her husband, Alfred, by her side. Dauphine was born in Shediac, New Brunswick on August 21, 1937, daughter of the late Alfred and Ida Fougere.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of forty years, Alfred, her children, Daniel (D) (Cindy), Helen, Debra (D) (Brian (D)) and her step-daughter Cathy. Grandchildren –Michael, Samatha, Tim, Jamie (Alex), Melissa (Matthew), Kaitlin (Billy), Kyle (Desiree), Lauren (Craig). Step-grandmother to Phillip, Steven, and Gillian. And 12 great-grandchildren. Dauphine was predeceased by brothers, Antoine Fougere (Anne Alice), Camille Fougere (Evangeline), and sister, Rose-Anne Savoie (Hector). She survived by brothers Roger Fougere (Elizabeth), Jean Fougere (Marier Rose), and three sisters, Marie-Catherine Cote (Joe), Eda Arsenault (Adelard), Linda Leder (Paul).
Dauphine worked hard throughout her life, ending her working career retiring from Northern Telcom in Belleville, Ontario. When she wasn’t working, one of her greatest joys was getting together with family and friends, sharing a meal, playing cards or just socializing. She welcomed everyone into her home with an open heart, and loved having her grandchildren around. Dauphine’s faith was very important to her; she loved singing hymns and helping those in need. She was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Foxboro, Ontario. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As per Dauphine’s wished cremation has taken place. A service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 2:00pm at the Chapel of the Good Shephard at 513 Ashley Street, Foxboro, Ontario.
