Kirk Edward Shortt
Passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital in Intensive Care surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 20th, 2025 in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of Nancy Laura Shortt. Loving dad of Chris, Paul and wife Krista, Melissa and husband Donny. Cherished by his grandchildren Kurtis, Karleigh, Olivia, Myla and Sophie Shortt.
Son of the late Ron and June Shortt.
Fondly remembered by sister Rhonda Shortt (Doug) and late brother Mike Shortt (Linda). Brother-in-law to Kim Fleming (Jim) and Debbie Wright. Son-in-law to the late Art and June Wright. Loved by his niece and nephews, Doug, Jamie and David Shortt. Missed by furry friends Emma and Lucy.
Kirk retired July 19th, 2019 from LaFarge Cement Plant after serving 48 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Burke Funeral Home, 150 Church Street, Belleville on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.
