John Gordon Kimball Jarvis
March 11, 1936 – February 18, 2025
Kimball was born in Souris, PEI to parents Laurence and Mary. He had six brothers and sisters: Billy, Vernon, Collin, Andy, Renalda and Eva.
In 1957 he married the love of his life, Frances Murphy. The same year he joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He proudly served 35 years, retiring in 1992. His postings took him to Germany, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. After his retirement he settled in Trenton, Ontario with Frances.
Kimball loved his retirement years. He worked with Trenton Air Cadets for years. During his life he would always travel back to his beloved province, PEI, with Francis and their four boys: Kim (Kimberley), Mike, Sean (Marla) and Trevor (Tracey).
He enjoyed puttering around the house doing his chores while listening to old country music, happily singing along with the tunes. His greatest pastime was getting together with his grandchildren, Danielle, Dustin, Jordon, Jenna and Graedon. They were the loves of his life.
For the last five years, Kimball lived in Hastings Manor on the Beech Ward. He was in excellent hands with the staff through those years. During this time two great grandchildren, Henry and Sienna were added to his family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Peter’s Catholic Church on Saturday February 22nd at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
