John passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Center on July 3, 2026, at the age of 72.
Beloved partner of Janice Roffey. Loving stepfather to Jordan Roffey(Kelli Cleave) and proud step-grandfather to
Justin Swinerd. He was the loving brother to Mary Jane Jackman(Bill) and was predeceased by his parents. J. Raymond and Freda Boyle. John will be greatly missed by his friends and extended family. Also missed by his furry companions, Prya, Bella and Rex.
John was a proud businessman, working as a local Realtor for 42 years. He not only loved what he did, but loved the community that he did it for. John prided himself on his deep rooted connections and his dedicated loyal friends he made along the way, in business or on the golf course.
John was known for many amazing things, his love of nature, his love of sports, the home that he created not only for himself but for the ones he loved the most. But for the last 22 years he will be remembered for being a dedicated loving husband, dad and protector, our loving “turtle”.
