It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John at the age of 93.
John was born in Tamlaght O’Crilly, Northern Ireland and lived in Kilrea until he immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he met and fell in love with his wife Jill. They were married for almost 63 years until her death in 2023.
John is predeceased by his parents Isabel and James as well as his Sisters Mena, Maisey, Sadie, and Isabel. He is survived by his sisters Ina and Sylvia
He will be lovingly remembered by his 3 sons, Adrian (Stella) of Brampton, Michael of Trenton, and Peter (Anne-Marie) of Wooler, who were his greatest joy in life.
He will be fondly missed by his grandchildren Carolina (Alex) and Christian as well as his great-granddaughter Emma.
Donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
John’s sons would like to thank Dr. Steffler for his wonderful and compassionate care of John. Thank you as well to the PSW’s, household manager, and nurses from VON, Paramed and CarePartner for your care and support.
