Volkman, Jean (nee Robertson)….born October 7 1931, died April 5, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Agnes Robertson (nee Hutchinson), husband Jack Volkman and siblings Helen, Marjorie, Betty Jane, Bob, Jim, Barbara, Sharon and Andrea. She is survived by her brother Neil (Anne Marie), her sister Heather (Ted), and many nieces and nephews. Jean’s working life began with five years in the Canadian Air Force and ended with many years teaching business at Trenton High School. Jean took great interest in her many nieces and nephews, always remembering birthdays and other special occasions. She was a much loved Aunt Jean and will be sorely missed. A special thanks to her good friend Bette Ross who was unfailing in visiting Jean. She had forgotten many people but always knew Bette. To the staff on the second floor of Trent Valley Lodge thank you for giving Jean amazing care with kindness and good humour. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday April 13th, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
