James Edward Tincknell (Jim), born December 23, 1959, in Paris, Ontario, passed away suddenly in his sleep on January 30, 2026, at the age of 66.
Jim was a beloved member of the Belleville community. A true people person, he loved making new friends and had a natural gift for connecting with others. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. Jim had a joyful spirit and loved making others laugh. He was a kind and good person who always stood up for others and did the right thing. Throughout his life, he volunteered his time to help others and to give back to his community in any way he could.
Jim is survived by his wife, Bonnie Tincknell (Easton) of Bancroft; his son, Luke Tincknell; his sisters, Mary Ann Leigh (Tincknell) and Jane Field (Tincknell). He will also be dearly remembered by Bonnie’s family, including her sister Penny Burrows (Easton) and Jim Burrows, who had a special place in his life, as well as Pam Clarke (Easton) and Fred Clarke, Diane Musclow (Easton), and their families.

Jim and Bonnie were together since they were teenagers and were happily married for 46 years. To share a life so fully and lovingly with your best friend is a priceless blessing, one for which we will be forever grateful. Jim was her rock, her soulmate, and her best friend.
In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Jim is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
