Helena Oosting

Oosting, Helena (nee de Ruiter)….passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday December 10th, 2024 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Feike Oosting. Loving mother to Roelie Vanderlaan & her husband Walter, predeceased by her daughter Bettie (late Harry), her son Jan (surviving Gracie). Cherished grandmother of Helena (Jeff), Tanya (Jon), Paul (Tara), Vanessa (Travis), Sarah (Chris), Johan (Jill), Colin (Danielle) and Rachel (Wayne), great grandmother of 16 great grandchildren and great great grandmother to “Ollie”. Helena is survived by her sister Jeanne Evers (Anton), and is predeceased by her brothers Johan, Jan and sisters Leentje and Jo. Fondly and lovingly remembered by her many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Weaver – East, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Monday December 16th, 2024 from 11am – 12 pm, followed by a service at 12 pm. Interment Belleville Cemetery.
