It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Clarence Young, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Doug will be remembered as a man who truly lived life to the fullest, always bringing laughter, warmth, and energy wherever he went.
He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially camping, where he felt most at peace surrounded by nature. A devoted fan of NASCAR and baseball, he rarely missed a race or a game and took great joy in sharing those passions with family and friends. Known as the life of the party, Doug’s infectious spirit, quick wit, and love of a good time made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
Doug was the cherished son of Ella and Clarence Young and the loving brother of Laurie (Greg) and Victoria. He is survived by his three children, Ashley (Jed), Jenna (Adrian), and Cody (Meaghan), and his nine grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jordyn, Lydia, Gracie, Reilly, Heartley, Lovhleyn, Rouge, and Zaedin.
Douglas Clarence Young will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his kindness, and the many memories he leaves behind.
