Douglas Stickwood passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on June 29, 2026. Doug was the beloved husband of Kathy Stickwood. Loving father of Kyle (Jennifer), Kristy (John), and Kelly. Cherished grandfather of Owen, Bridgette, Savannah, Dakotah, Parker, and Sydney.
Doug was very involved in the community his entire life. From early years as a lacrosse, hockey and baseball coach to his time with the Kinsmen and his many years as a volunteer fighfighter, and involvement with the St. John’s United Church. He had many accomplishments, but what he was most proud of was his family including his 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Weaver Family Funeral Home, Campbellford Chapel, 77 Second Street, Campbellford, on Tuesday July 7 for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service. Please feel free to wear Blue Jays attire in honour of Doug’s love for the Jays. In memory of Douglas, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Municipality of Trent Hills Fire Department would be appreciated by the family.
