Donna Marie Wilson

Wilson, Donna (nee Ames) passed away peacefully with family by her side at Campbellford Memorial Hospital Tuesday, September 15th , 2026. Donna was the beloved wife of 55 years to her cherished husband Stephen Wilson. Devoted mother to Kristin Kelleher (Sean), Kaley Wilson (Pale) and Kaidre Wilson. The best and proudest Nana to her grandchildren Dylan and Brennan Kelleher, Linkoln and Mataya Thomas and Lyrik Kidd. Donna will be missed by her siblings David Ames (Terri) and Lorie O’Rourke (the late Kevin O’Rourke). Donna was predeceased by her parents Fred and Betty Ames.

Donna’s lifelong passion for books turned into a fulfilling career, spending numerous years working at the Campbellford Public Library. Donna passed her love of reading down to her three daughters who will miss her heartfelt messages with book recommendations.

Her dedication to helping others will be a great loss in this community. Donna was an active volunteer generously giving her time to the Lioness Club, Friends of Ferris, and the New 2 You Boutique at St. John’s United Church. Her contagious smile, sharp sense of humour and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.

As per Donna’s wishes cremation has taken place. If desired donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Friends of Ferris, Bailey McDonald Memorial Literacy Fund in partnership with Trent Hills Public Library or The Leukemia Research Foundation

would be appreciated by the family.
