Passed away, with family by his side at Belleville General Hospital, on June 3, 2026 in his 84th year.
Loving husband of the late Gail Gould.
Dennis will be forever loved and missed by his children, Courtney McDaid (Bill McIntosh), Ryan Gould and grandchildren Jordan, Danica, Alexis and Keaton.
Dennis is predeceased by his mother, Jean ‘Jane’ Gould, father Dennis Gould, twin brother Douglas Gould, brother Art Gould and survived by his brother Edwin Taylor.
Dennis was passionate about many things, especially curling. He spent countless hours on the ice and enjoyed the friendships he built at the Quinte Curling Club.
When he wasn’t at the curling club, Dennis could often be found outdoors. He loved fishing, especially in Temagami, where he owned a cottage for many years. After retiring to Belleville from Toronto, he took up fly fishing. He also enjoyed cycling and took great pride in tending to his lawn and garden. It was often said that he had the best lawn on the block.
Dennis was all about living life and pursuing the things he was passionate about, right into his later years. Known for his perfectly timed one-liners, he could always bring a smile to those around him. A man of principle, he never shied away from a debate or political discussion. His steadfast character, dry humour, and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
The family will be respecting his wishes with an intimate family service only. Memorial donations to the Quinte Curling Club are welcomed.
