David Stanley Franks
Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 30, 2026 in his 87th year.
David will always be loved and missed by his wife of 64 years, Wanda (Holmes) Franks; his children Michael (Michelle) Franks, Suzanne (Michael) Broek; his grandchildren Jamie (Donna) Franks, Ashley (Bobby) Solmes, Steven (Shae Lyn) Broek, Jordan (Samantha) Franks and Shawn (Melanie) Franks; his great grandchildren Tucker, Kolton, Josie, Kinslie, Kendall, Layne, Jameson, Barrett, Wilder, Roman and Cohen; and his sister Marg Smith and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Allan & Elsie (Smail) Franks; brother Glenn and sister Molly Ferren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Eldorado Hall (15651 Highway #62, Madoc) on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm, with tributes at 3pm.
Donations to St. Andrew’s United Church, Queensborough, Hazzards Cemetery, or a charity of your choice.
