David Palmateer
It is with profound sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of David Palmateer on Sunday, August 17, 2025. David passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
David will always be loved and missed by his wife Donna (Rashotte) Palmateer; his daughter Kayla Palmateer (Luke Haegele); his grandchildren Adalyn and Rhett Haegele; siblings Larry (Patricia) Palmateer, Peggy (Harvey) Chisholm, Mary Lou Palmateer (Angela Bunnett); sister-in-law Fay Palmateer and his extended family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
David is predeceased by his parents Ross and Evelyn Palmateer, brother John Palmateer, niece Erin Palmateer and son Christopher Palmateer.
David was a dedicated husband, father, Papa and brother. David was known for his beaming smile, kind and gentle nature, hard work ethic, and the purest form of love he had for his family and friends.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held at the family home, 1552 Crookston Road, Tweed on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
