It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David De Forneri Geen peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side on November 22, 2025. David was the son of Alwyn and Dorothy Geen of Geen’s Pharmacy which remained in the family from 1835 till it was recently sold. He was also the brother of Noeleen (Bob Denton), Joyce, and Peri Geen and uncle to Chelsea (Joram) and Olivia Geen. David was the beloved longtime spouse to Rita Krysak and a wonderful father figure to Katrina and Michael Krysak. He worked diligently managing and running Geen’s Pharmacy until it was sold. Dave left us with a lasting legacy of hard work and dedication and love of family and friends.
The visitation will be held at Burke Funeral Home, 150 Church Street, Belleville Ontario on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. both days.
