Vandenhoven, Cathy (nee Closs)… passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on January 29, 2025 at the age of 61 years. Adored daughter of Marcelle (Dwayne). Loving mother to Kurtis. Loving sister to Michael. Cathy will be greatly missed by her many friends and extended family. Cathy was such a devoted mother to Kurtis and loved him above all things. She so dearly loved her family and all of her pets, which were so close to her heart. Cathy loved her friends fiercely, and loved her TD Bank family so very much. She will be so dearly missed by all. Cathy is predeceased by her father William “Bill” Closs. Family & Friends are invited to visit at St.Peters Catholic Church – Trenton on Saturday February 8th at 11:00am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery to take place at a future date. If desired, donations to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, MS Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Oshawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
