SHANE, Caroline Sandra – entered into rest at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home, Picton, on Monday, January 27th, 2025, at the age of 77. Dear daughter of the late William & Doris Casselman (nee MacDonald). Beloved wife of William James “Bill” Shane for 58 years. Cherished mother of Wendy (Ron), Barb (Dan), and the late Emma. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Patrick (Krystal), Kaitlyn (Brent), Jessie, Zoe, and Curtis, and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Warren, Pauline and the late Billy. Caroline will be missed by her in-laws; Bob (Faye), Mike (Barb), and Steve (Johnine), her nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with the wishes of Caroline, cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Caroline may be made to H. J. McFarland Memorial Home or to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Picton. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Spencer Lee for his kind and gentle care of Caroline and also to the exceptional staff at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home in Picton.
