C. Wayne “Beaver” Atchison, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9th, 2024, with family by his side. Predeceased by his father Stanley, mother Ilene, his step-mom Olive, his infant daughter Tammy-Sheila, his loving wife and best friend of 54 years Linda on Jan 10, 2020 and son-in-law Geoff Towse. Wayne is survived by his son Jamie (Wendy), Deedee (late Geoff), Victoria (Sheldon) and his many grandchildren, Jeff (Lauren), Jessica (Brad), Tammie (Brayden), Erica (Dillon), Jordan, Brennan, Cameron, Kelsey, Gavin, Breanna, Tim (Cassie), Tyler (Jessica) and great grandchildren, Liam, Addison, Eva, Jayce, Tyson, Emma and Benjamine. Loving brother to Elaine (Dick), Carol (Gilles), Brian and Barry. The family would like to thank Dr. Patenaude and the nurses at B3-Peterborough Regional Health Centre for all their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Weaver – Campbellford on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, followed by a Golden Rule #126 Lodge Service and a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the springtime. If desired, memorial donations to the Bridge Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
