Bruce Allan Faulds a beloved husband, father, grandfather, teacher and coach, passed away on Thursday, May 15th, 2025 at Hospice Quinte. His wife Diana was with him. Bruce was 84 years old and leaves a legacy of love and fantastic memories for all who knew him.
Born in Strathroy, Ontario, Bruce was raised on a farm near Forest, Ontario. His amazing work ethic was nurtured by caring parents.
For nearly 4 decades he taught high school in Clinton and at Centennial High School in Belleville, where he was head of the Physical Education Department. Thousands of students that he taught were encouraged and inspired by a man who loved his job and students. His unwavering commitment to his job as a teacher and coach was huge. The success of Bruce culminated in the track at C.S.S. named for him and in honour of his dedication, Bruce was elected to the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
After his retirement, Bruce and Diana moved to Strathroy for 12 years and returned to the Quinte area in 2009. Bruce’s retirement was filled with many amazing adventures, travels and hobbies (golf, gardening, cards and dancing with Diana were only to name a few).
Bruce was predeceased by his parents; Ernie and Ella Faulds, in-laws; Clyde and Maggie Golding, brother; Ron (Verna) Faulds, sister-in-law; Alison Stodin, favorite aunt, Jocelyn Kern and brothers-in-law Neil and Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years; Diana, his sons; Allan (Stephanie), Scott (Zaleena), Michael (Lea), seven adored granddaughters; Jessica, Rachel, Alina, Sarah, Bela, Dale and Tanya, and sisters; Marilyn (Gerry) and Carol (Dave).
Cremation will take place and services to be confirmed at a later date.
