HICKS, Allan (June 10th, 1950 – July 21st, 2025) – of Stirling, entered into rest suddenly at his home on July 21st, 2025, at the age of 75. Dear son of the late Reuben & Annie Hicks (nee Marsh). Loving father of Rob and Jon Hicks. Grandfather of Jordan Hicks. Cherished brother of Pat Higgins, and Bill Post. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Dool, and Rose Wrightly, and by his brother Jack Hicks. Dear Godfather of Stephanie Woodbeck. Allan will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, many friends, and his beloved dog Josie. Allan was a past president of the Stirling Legion. He also volunteered his time to youth sports teams in the Stirling area as well as helping to set up the Food Bank. Allan was liked by all who knew him. In keeping with the wishes of Allan, cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Stirling Legion (day and time to be confirmed). A Private inurnment to take place in Bloomfield. If desired, donations in memory of Allan may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or March of Dimes Canada.
