The Belleville Senators and Lafferty’s Menswear are partnering to recognize a deserving young hockey player from the Quinte region. One local minor hockey player will be selected to receive a suit, professionally fitted and tailored by the team at Lafferty’s Menswear, so they can look and feel their best on game day and beyond.
Walking into the rink in a sharp suit is a time-honoured hockey tradition, from the pros right down to the local leagues. This contest gives one young player the chance to arrive dressed like the pros, and to be recognized for the effort, character and heart they bring to the game and to their community.
“Hockey has always been about more than what happens on the ice. It’s about teamwork, showing up for each other, and taking pride in how you carry yourself,” said Taylor Russett, owner of Lafferty’s Menswear. “We’ve been part of this community since 1972, and partnering with the Belleville Sens to celebrate a young player who embodies those values is something we’re really proud of. We can’t wait to welcome the winner into the shop and get them fitted for a suit that’s made for them.”
